The Principal Scientist & Head intends to recruit three Senior Research Fellows in two Projects funded by ICAR and DBT purely on contractual basis in the projects titled "Network Project titled, "Physiological Water use efficiency (Root Traits)” and "DBT funded Project titled, "Molecular marker assisted development of biotic stress resistant wheat varieties"
Position: Senior Research Fellow(1)
Project Title: "Physiological Water use efficiency (Root Traits)”
Qualification: M.Sc. Agric. in Plant Physiology/ Genetics/Plant Breeding/Agricultural Botany / Molecular Biology.
Emoluments: Rs. 12,000/- + 20% HRA
Position: Senior Research Fellow(2)
Project Title: "Molecular marker assisted development of biotic stress resistant wheat varieties"
Qualification: M.Sc. Agric. in Plant Biotechnology/Genetics / Plant Breeding / Plant Pathology / Agricultural Botany / Molecular Biology.
Desirable: Minimum two years of research experience in the field of molecular markers and working knowledge of computer.
Emoluments: Rs. 14,000/- + 20% HRA per month
The interview of eligible candidates for the above posts will be held on 25 January, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at IARI-Regional Station, Residency Area, (Near College of Agriculture), INDORE–452 001 (M.P.). Interested candidates satisfying the essential qualifications may come for the interview with a copy of the bio-data, original and attested copies of all certificates, recent copy of passport size photograph, etc. for each post. The above posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially for a period of one year but may be extended on year to year basis based on performance of the candidates. The candidates shall not claim for regular appointment at this Institute, as the posts are co-terminus with the respective projects. No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview. Only the candidates having essential qualification would be entertained for the interview.
