Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum, a unit of the National Council of Science Museums, an autonomous scientific & research organization under the Ministry of Culture, Govt, of India, engaged in popularization of Science & Technology among the people at large, invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Project Associate
* Name of the Post: Project Associate
* Duration of the Post: two years
* Essential Qualifications: MSc. Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Bio-science or Environmental Science with minimum 55% marks.
* Desirable Qualification: One year experience in Science Communication / Education in any recognized institute.
* Stipend: Rs.8, 000/- per month for two years plus House Rent Allowance & Medical Allowance as admissible under the rules.
* Age limit: The upper age limit for Project Associate shall be 28 years, which is relaxed upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.
Mode of Application: Interested and eligible candidates may apply on plain paper with complete bio-data and attested copies of all certificates and mark sheets to the Director, Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum, Kasturba Road, Bangalore - 560 001 The selected Project Associate will carry on studies on "Impact of Activities of Science Centres on the Society" at NCSM units. The selection will be based on a written aptitude test followed by an interview of short listed candidates. The date & time of Test & interview will be communicated to the candidates in due course.
