2. Diploma in Journalism
3. Knowledge of Computer Applications
Job Requirement: Writing and editing of popular science articles, news items, reports, etc. for magazines, annual reports, newsletters, etc.; Publishing of popular science magazines
Area: Botany
Essential Qualification: 1st Class M.Sc. in Botany OR Ph.D. ( Botany)
Desirable:
1. Knowledge of writing and editing Scientific articles on plants
2. Knowledge of Computer Applications
Job Requirement: Collection, collation and compilation of information on plants of economic importance; Literature search; Writing, editing and preparation of articles/digests; Indexing & abstracting of articles
Area: Zoology
Essential Qualification: 1st Class M.Sc. in Zoology OR Ph.D. (Zoology)

2. Knowledge of Computer Applications

* To apply, the applicants must fill in the online application form available on NISCAIR Website www.niscair.res.in. Only the applications received electronically followed by hard copy attached with all relevant documents thereof, will be entertained.
* An application fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One hundred only) (no application fee for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Women / PWD Candidates / Overseas candidates of Indian origin and regular employees of CSIR) is payable separately for each post(s) which should be ONLY in the form of crossed Demand Draft payable at New Delhi (valid for a period of atleast 6 months) drawn in favour of Director, NISCAIR, New Delhi.
